First and foremost, we want to express our incredible gratitude for our out-of-state/country travelers. We know many of you have never been to Seattle, so we hope we can make your experience memorable and meaningful. I mean, of course it will be, since we’ll be getting married, but still. 🤭

FAQ

  • This shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone, especially if you know us well, but it is imperative for us to make sure our wedding is a safe space - and not in the “you can say whatever you want safely” type of way.

We proudly support LGBTQIA+ people, Black and Brown liberation, equity and equality for people of the global majority and all other marginalized communities. Full Stop. Period.

Cory and I try our best to maintain a close-knit group of friends who share our values, but we recognize that there are times when this may not always be the case. That being said… If you voted for Trump in this past election, please do not attend our wedding, you are not welcome - even if you are family.

  • There are a plethora of great hotel options around the area! Please click here to find the list of hotels we recommend that are near the wedding venue.

  • Great question! Depends on where you're coming from.

Please visit our page on travel & stay.

  • No (with exceptions). Unless your children have been explicitly invited, please do not bring them. This will result in a very awkward experience for everyone.

  • Unless your invitation explicitly includes the name of your plus 1 then no. While we support you and your companion (at least we would hope we do), unfortunately, we can only accommodate so many people. Fret not, we will make sure you have fun regardless.

  • If you're staying around Seattle downtown, we'd say it's not necessary to rent a car.

Seattle is generally a walkable city, or so they say, but there are quite a few hills. The area near the wedding venue should be relatively flat, so we trust you'll be okay!

There is public transportation, but if you're coming from NYC or NJ, don't expect the MTA or Path!

  • We are requesting (and by requesting, we really mean demanding) that guests wear formal attire.

Our color palette is generally: black, light pink, burgundy, dark green. There are no color restrictions, however, so feel free to wear whatever color you like (except white or cream - we may publicly shame you).

If you are feeling unsure and/or concerned about what to wear, please contact Kat.

  • If you have specific dietary requirements, needs, or preferences, please let us know. You will be given an opportunity to make a note when choosing a meal-type, but we understand that some people may need or expect more information about the food we are providing.

  • Room Blocks have been reserved for family at this current time. We will release public room blocks towards the middle of December. We know traveling is expensive, and we are so grateful that you are taking time and energy to celebrate our wedding with us, but we were given a limited room block that has been filled by family. Thank you for understanding!

  • If you have accessibility concerns, in any capacity, please feel let us know (so long as you are comfortable doing so)! We can help you figure out how to make sure your visit is as comfortable and accessible-friendly as possible.

  • Well... it's Washington, so you can definitely count on it raining. Though climate change is making it more difficult for us to predict seasons, we can pretty much guarantee it will be a bit chilly (at least for most of our guests). In 2024, the weather in February was about 50 degrees Farenheit (or 10 degrees Celcius).

  • We're not travel agents, but we're happy to refer you to one! Please contact Mario Ibrahim, one of the best men, to learn more about fun things to do around Seattle!
